What to expect on a service call

A little preparation helps us find the problem faster, which saves you time and money.

Before we arrive

  • Note what's happening and when it started.
  • If your furnace has a blinking status light, count the blinks.
  • Write down the thermostat settings.
  • If you know it, have the age or model number of your system (it's on the unit's label).
  • Clear a path to the indoor and outdoor units.
  • Put pets in another room.

During the visit

Our technician will diagnose the problem and walk you through what they found. Labor is billed by the hour. The first hour includes the drive to your home, and each hour after that is billed at a lower rate.

After the work

New systems we install come with a one-year labor warranty and two maintenance visits in the first year. Ask us about seasonal tune-ups to keep the rest of your system in shape.
